For a free sample edit, please send two, double-spaced pages as a Word attachment to skylarburris@yahoo.com. I offer this free service so that authors can evaluate the type of editing I provide without any cost. When I return your edited sample, I will provide you with a quote for your entire project.

Services for Businesses

Website Content: You tell me the topic, and I'll produce the website content you need. I will also edit existing website content.

Copy Editing: I provide detailed, line by line copy editing of proposals, letters, emails, newsletters, guide books, manuals, law summaries, legal documents, brochures, reports, and more.

Newsletters & Blogs: I will write newsletter or blog articles on any topic and copy edit your newsletter or blog prior to publication.

I am currently accepting new clients, and I am happy to work on projects of any size or duration. My turnaround time for small editing or writing projects can be as fast as 48 hours.
Qualifications

M.A. in English from the University of Texas at Brownsville
B.A. in English and Economics from the University of Virginia
I have been editing and writing a variety of content for businesses for over nineteen years. Past clients have included educational institutions, associations, real estate agencies, life insurance companies, tax accountants, lawyers, and retailers. I have edited novels in a variety of genres, poetry collections, and non-fiction books.
